Twitter has closed more than 3,000 accounts

The social networking site Twitter has closed more than 3,000 accounts.

Twitter's management says it has removed more than 3,000 accounts that were working on state-linked information.

The company also said it would launch an expert research consortium in early 2022 to study governance issues from its platform.
