Leading Bollywood filmmaker Ekta Kapoor has given a reason for her absence from the wedding of her close friend's actor Raj Kumar Rao and Patralekha and their wedding ceremony in Chandigarh.

Explaining the reason for her absence from the wedding, she wrote, "Ever since she returned home from Delhi, she has not traveled due to her stomach problems and therefore could not attend the wedding of this beautiful couple in Chandigarh." '

Expressing happiness over the marriage of Raj Kumar Rao and Patralikha, he wrote, "Both Patra and Raj convinced them of love!"
