LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif has said that his party will not be a part of any international conspiracy.


According to the Dawn newspaper, while talking to the media in Lahore, in response to a question, he said, "Whoever chanted slogans in Faisalabad has nothing to do with the party. I clearly say that he is not." They are neither workers nor PML-N officials.


"It is neither in the national interest nor at any cost to raise slogans against the heads of the various wings of the armed forces in public meetings, (especially) in the current international context in which a new cold has set in," he said. War must be allowed to engulf the region.


"Appointments and transfers in any (military) institution are an internal matter that does not require outside intervention and has never been done in the past," he said.


It is to be noted that PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz had referred to the controversy over the appointment of the Director-General of Inter-Services Intelligence during her speech at the rally.


As she was finishing her speech, a man appeared on the stage and asked the audience to raise slogans against the ISI chief.


Shahbaz Sharif, who is also the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, stressed that a professional and strong army is essential for defense, security, and peace in a country. Can damage the capabilities.


He expressed the hope that no political party, including the PML-N, would be part of an international conspiracy that could jeopardize national defense.


He said that the convoy of PDM has left and it will breathe a sigh of relief only after exposing the PTI government in front of the people.


Responding to a question on the issuance of the ordinance by the government, he lamented that the PTI government had been holding the parliament closed for the last three years and running the country through the ordinance even though it was the parliament that ruled the constitution. "But the government is doing everything through a presidential ordinance."


He said that it was the misfortune of the nation that the present Prime Minister had destroyed the economy by locking everything.


Referring to the falling value of the rupee against the dollar, he said that the value of the dollar has risen to Rs 175, and if the dollar continues to fly, the unity of the people will fail to save the country's economy. ۔


"Inflation is hurting the economy and causing unemployment," he said.


He said that the Prime Minister has taken another U-turn led by a strong 80-member delegation.


Referring to the efforts of Punjab as the Chief Minister against the menace of dengue, Shahbaz Sharif lamented that the present rulers were doing very little in the fight against the disease.
