The head of the Taliban's political wing and deputy chief Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar has arrived in Afghanistan.


According to sources, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar has arrived in Afghanistan after 20 years and he is likely to be given a key role in a possible Taliban government in Afghanistan.

Taliban sources said that the leadership of the Taliban in the Qatar political office has reached Kandahar from Doha as a matter of urgency where the future course of action will be decided.

Before leaving for Afghanistan, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar met with the Qatari Foreign Minister to discuss the political and security situation in Afghanistan.
