Fashion shows show all the colors of Pakistani culture: Geeti Ara

"People make stars and if they appreciate, they have the right to criticize, but this criticism is beyond the scope of ethics," says Geeti Ara, who won the Model of the Year award in the Women's category at the Style Awards. In an exclusive interview with Colors Facts, Geeti Ara said, "Receiving awards is not the goal of his career, but when he is awarded for his work, it is a proud moment." And the satisfaction of getting an award for good work is not in anything else.

Referring to the criticism of Pakistani artists' costumes at the Hum Style Awards, he said, "I would just like to say that I only focus on the work. If you sit down, you will be distracted from work.

He said that Pakistan is not the name of a single culture but a collection of many cultures and it feels great when all the colors of culture are seen together in fashion shows.

For Giti fashion is the name of adapting to the present trend. "Wear clothes that suit you, now you can't wear something that you can't carry properly."

According to Geeti, she wears clothes for the occasion. "If there is a wedding ceremony, I wear a sari, a shirt, a shalwar, and a western dress, but keeping in mind my culture and its boundaries."

Geeti Ara believes that Pakistan's fashion industry is moving in the right direction, but there is still a long way to go.

"I have become a top model. Do you know if today's top model will become tomorrow's top actress?"

Geeti Ara has also recently stepped into the field of acting, concerning which she said that she is getting a very good response, so she will continue acting and make a name for herself in it. "Working in films is the dream of any model or actor and I will definitely do it if I get good projects."
